Commitment

This term ( Term 4) We are Focusing on Commitment.

The Question is : What does Commitment mean to me?

To me Commitment means that I'm ready for learning at school, what I mean is that having everything I need for the day, the correct uniform and being able to get on with your work even if someone is annoying you, you don't listen to what there saying and do what your meant to do.

What Commitment sounds like to me, Commitment sounds like I always have a great Attitude, I don't talk back to the teacher when I've been told to do something and when I'm  having trouble at something or I'm stuck, I put my hand up or walk up to the teacher and ask for help.

What Commitment looks like to me, Commitment looks like I'm wearing the correct clothes, that I always have a smile on my face and that if someone is upset, walk up to them, ask if there OK and keep them company.

What Commitment feels like to me, Commitment feels like when I've done the right thing when the teacher isn't there, Helping People when they need help and trying my best.

What I've Written Today

I've been writing about the Hunger Games but If I was in it.

I Ignore him and wait till he's gone,
I go to Grab Rues hand but I see that they ran away,
I sigh but continue to climb the trees,
I reach to top of the tree and Look out around the world,
I stretch my arm up to the sky but get a Shock,
I shudder as I put my hand down behind by back,
I look at it and see that there's a mark on my hand,
It's sizzling, my Hand is Shaking,
I grab my Scarf and wrap it around my arm,
I look around and see that the sky, it's not the real sky,
I see a person, I look at them and steer,
they grab something from there back,
they pull out a dagger, I steer and get ready to run.

I try to step but I see Fox Face it behind me, I gasp,
She tries to Stab me but she falls, her arm gets stuck,
She Tries to pull it but the Branches under nether her falls,
Her arm gets ripped off, all I can hear is her screaming in pain,
I look down to see blood, I want to help her but I want to win,
so I give her food and water but she throws them away,
She Thought of what she did and asks for help, all I say is

“Have Fun In Hell” I leave and climb down the trees.

I’m also down the tree, but I see Mark,
I hide but I see thats hes all alone,
I throw a rock near his feet, he looks behind him and sees me.

Why Do We Have Marshmallows?

Have you ever wondered why we have Marshmallows,
 you may think that why we have them is just because of sore throats but there is
actually a whole history about it
, let me tell you a bit of the true reasons why we have Marshmallows.

History of Marshmallow.
Marshmallows come from the sweet sap of the 'Mallow' Plant that grows in salty marshes
near large bodies
of water and grow 2 to 4 feet high.
The ancient Egyptians used the mallow root for making their candied delicacies for their Gods,
Nobility and Pharaohs over 2000 years ago.

Using marshmallows to soothe a sore throat is kind of an internet urban legend,
and it's one that's both right and wrong.  Marshmallows are simply sugar, water, air, and
gelatin. Sometimes gelatin-based products,
like Jello are suggested for sore throats, but there are few scientific reasons for why.

2000 B.C.
Ancient Egyptians discover a wild herb growing in marshland from which a sweet substance
could be extracted.
This substance, the sap of the marshmallow plant,
is combined with a honey-based candy recipe to create a confection so delightful
that it's reserved only for the pharaohs and the gods.

During those times,
Egyptians made individual marshmallows by hand by extracting sap from a mallow plant and
mixing it with nuts and honey.
This delicious sweet developed a new form when, in the 1800s,
Candy makers in France took the sap from marshmallow plants and combined it with egg whites
and sugar.

The Conclusion is that marshmallows were made for ancient Egyptian gods and came from
a tree sap called the “Mallow” plant

because it had a sweet taste to it and when the Mallow plant sap was mixed with Nuts
and berries
it was given to the ancient gods, plus a long time ago a french man mixed Egg whites,
Sugar and the Mallow plant sap to make the Marshmallows that we have today.

Pantomime  is a type of musical comedy stage production designed for family entertainment. It was developed in England and is still performed throughout the United Kingdom, generally during the Christmas and New Year season and, to a lesser extent, in other English-speaking countries. Modern pantomime includes songs, gags, slapstick comedy and dancing, employs gender-crossing actors and combines topical humour with a story loosely based on a well-known fairy tale, fable or folk tale. It is a participatory form of theatre, in which the audience is expected to sing along with certain parts of the music and shout out phrases to the performers.

What Does Slapstick mean?

Comedy based on deliberately clumsy actions and humorously embarrassing events.

How could Slapstick be in Our Play

Aunty Sila is a main character which is played by a boy, he could fall over, not Listen to anyone and stuff like that.

Our Musical

Yesterday's rehearsal went great, today we are getting some costumes ready for our Profomues for our musical tomoroow

Rehearsal Rewrite

Yesterday we had Rehearsal of our Musical dance from Moana and the song was We Know The Way, I think yesterdays rehearsal was great but I think we need to work on it because some of villagers ( the people on the rocks)  are talking to each other and need to look around the place.

I feel very nervous and exited about the Live performance but I really happy.

What I'll wear is one of the Dresses that Mrs Clark or Mrs Beer have.

It depicts political and interpersonal struggles between Judas Iscariot and Jesus that are not present in the Bible.

The Musical is based of how the Bad Witch became Bad

The story centers on Elphaba, the misunderstood, smart, and fiery girl of emerald-green skin who grows up to become the notorious Wicked Witch of the West and Galinda, the beautiful, blonde, popular girl who grows up to become Glinda the Good Witch of the South.

My Favourite Musical

My Favourite musical is about  A high school senior who struggles with social anxiety disorder. He is assigned by his therapist to write letters to himself about why each day will be good, which becomes the catalyst for the plot of the story. He also has never had any friends, and has had a crush on Zoe Murphy for a very long time, I love this movie because I relate to him because I've been bullied like him before, I love his songs and I love the story line.

What could go wrong in a live performance?

You could muck up a line during the performance, you could hurt yourself during a live performance

you could do the wrong moves or words at the wrong timing
