Motion and Balance

1. What is Motion, Gravity and Friction?

Motion- Its a push or a pull
Balance- For and Object to remain in the same place until a Motion  Moves it.
Friction-The Rubbing of 2 objects together.

2.What happens if I hit something but it doesn't hit the wall?

If You it something but there is no wall it will just keep moving and moving until it hit something.

3.The Three laws of force

1. Objects in rest remain in rest
Objects in Movement stay in movement
Objects in a Straight line stays in a straight line.

2. Force=mass x Exhilaration.

3.for every action there is a opposite reaticion  




Bubble Gum

Which one makes the best bubbles?

Chewing gum experiment

You will be in groups of 3 students to test the which gum is the best for bubble, stretch and taste.

Aim: To see which bubble gum makes the best Bubbles, has the best elasticity and keeps its taste for the longest.

Hypothesis: I Think the Hubba Bubba will win 

Equipment:
  • 3 different chewing gum brands
  • stop watch
  • ruler
  • graph to record detail.
Method:
  1. Place the first piece of chewing gum in your mouth and time how long it takes to keep its taste.
  2. Chew the gum and record this time on the chart.
  3. Using the same piece of gum blow a bubble. Record on the chart as 'no bubble', 'small', 'medium', 'large'.
  4. Test for elasticity. Keep all of the gum in your mouth and see how long you can stretch it. Measure it and record its length.
